The North Central Home Builders Association (NCHBA) is a non-profit trade association, established in 1993, to provide a unified voice for the building industry in North Central Washington. Today, our membership has grown to include approximately 600 companies that serve the building industry throughout Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan Counties.

"Building Our Future Together" is more than just a tagline. Our membership is united and committed to promoting and protecting affordable housing, so that all families can achieve the American dream of owning their home. Furthermore, we strive to promote and strengthen a favorable business environment for the benefit of our membership, as well as all small businesses within the communities we serve.

The North Central Home Builders Association believes:

• Homeownership should be in reach of every American.
• Each house should be well designed, constructed and located in attractive communities.
• Each home should be built under the free enterprise system.

Our proud affiliation with the Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) provides our members a highly respected and effective voice in local, state and national politics concerning the building industry. The BIAW staff watches the bills proposed each legislative session, monitoring and lobbying on behalf of the fifteen local building associations in Washington State. In this way, we are able to petition for and against legislation that either positively or negatively impacts the building industry. On the local level, we work in unison with our state and national organizations to advocate for a vibrant building industry throughout North Central Washington.

The North Central Home Builders Association also serves as a resource to the communities where our members live and work. The public benefits through the Association providing consumer information and referrals to help ensure that their construction experience is a positive one.
